An Italian restaurant hidden in the bluestone basement of the State Library of Victoria, beneath the Wheeler Centre. Since 2011, owners Paul and Rosie have served Melbourne mouths handmade pasta, our new signature Thousand Layer Lasagne (beef shin ragù, hot three-cheese mousse) slow cooked Lamb shoulder and classic tiramisù, with a wine list that leans Italian and Victorian. Lunch Wed–Fri with a $25 pasta special, Gnocchi Night every Wednesday, happy hour Tue–Sat 4–6pm. Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian diners well looked after.
